Pay per major version.
Stiva works like desktop software used to, before subscriptions hit everything. Once you unlock a version's premium features, they remain yours.
- Can I import my articles from Pocket or other services?
- Yes! Stiva includes a custom import tool that supports exports from Pocket, Instapaper, browser bookmarks, or generic ZIP, HTML and CSV files.
- What's a major version?
- A major version is a big release, like Stiva 1 or Stiva 2, that adds genuinely new premium capabilities. Every smaller update, bug fix, and improvement within a version is always included, at no extra cost.
- Will I ever be forced to pay again?
- No. Once you unlock Premium for a version, those features stay yours for the life of that version. A new major version is a new choice, never an obligation: if what you already have does everything you need, just keep using it.
- Is it really a one-time payment?
- Yes. One payment, one version, no subscription and no recurring charges. You'll still get the same updates everyone gets, and you only pay again if a future major version offers something worth upgrading for.
